ROYAL OPERA HOUSE POSTERS AND ANIMATION


Entry of the YCN curated graphic design competition. The client, Royal Opera House, asked to create a Royal Ballet advertising campaign that would address the audience of 18-30 years olds and motivate them to attend the Royal Opera performances. With my work, I aimed at showing ballet as an art form which is also represented by young people. To achieve this, I created four subsequent posters, which depict a mystical, casually dressed ballet dancer in the movement. An excerpt from the poem by a young ex ballet dancer, Darren White, was included in order to speak to the audience directly. Posters were created for display in public spaces. GIF animation designed for websites and social media.
