Typeface 'Suwasa'

The design of the typeface was influenced by Italian artist Eduardo Paolozzi's sculpture 'Suwasa'. The sculpture reminds me of a motor sports race track so I decided to adapt this idea to the typeface design. This association seems reasonable, because Eduardo Paolozzi was passionate about cars and his work involved them. The letters were created with Adobe Illustrator and then transferred to Glyphs and can be typed. 'Suwasa' is intended for signage, headings and posters.
